RodRail eXtreme are precise components with an essential design: narrow profile, lightweight, versatile and easily configurable in multiaxes set ups.
VRSP (Vacuum Rotation Stage Plus)
UHV High Precision Rotation Stage. Aluminium alloy body, precision cross roller bearing, Phytron VSS motor with optional resolver, worm wheel gear transmission.
Travel range +/- 360° with 1 or 2 adjustable limit switches, repeatability up to 0,0002°(on measure system).
Load capacity 15kg, optional RESA Renishaw absolute measure system. UHV grease or dry lubrication.

VSS Motors
Phytron VSS/VSH stepper motors can be used in particularly challenging environmental conditions (radiation, cryo temperatures and in a modified design even in space). Since stepper motors do not generate jitter effects while holding a position, this technology is ideal for precisely aligning optical instruments, mirrors, antennas or samples e.g. in highresolution microscopes, particle accelerators or molecular analysis devicesz.
VLSP (Vacuum Linear Stage Plus)
VLSP is the hi-end micro positioning stage thought to deliver the highest performances in a compact shape.
A solid body, machined by a block of aluminium alloy, integrates high precision stainless steel recirculating ball bearings. A stainless steel lead-screw with a pre-loaded PEEK nut is driven by a VSS Phytron motor, PEEK micro-switches are integrated in the mechanics for end of run and homing function.
